Final Post - Chile

Hi everybody!

This is my last post and to finish I’m going to talk about my country, Chile.

The truth is I like Chile; there are lots of things about Chile than I like it such as different landscapes, diverse climates and the Chilean people is really warm and affectionate. On the other hand, I don’t like Santiago I think than we are overcrowded and this causes many of us feel stressed. Also I don’t like public policy of our country I think people do not feel supported and protected, there is not a good public education neither public health. On these aspects our country could improve. Maybe this would change if we inform about the people who represent us in the parliament, of course is not all but would be a small change.

I have not been to any other countries so I don’t know that think people about our country, but some time ago I met to Helen she is from England and we often talk about the differences and similarities between our countries, she told me that the difference most evident is that the people in our country is warmest, as we say in Chile “de piel” hahaha! Also from her perspective In England people have lots of social benefits unlike Chile.  In spite of everything she chose to stay in Chile that must be because is not so bad! XD

I dream about to live in the south of Chile or in the seaside because I like the cold weather I would be really comfortable living of that way as well as always I have thought that I would like to travel around of world, maybe all life however in the end I think everybody want to come back your to home, your country, to me that feeling is stronger.

I just can say that this blog was a good experience and now to follow learning J

Learning English

Hiiii!

The post of today is about “English” and my experience with this, the truth is that it has been difficult for me to finish this subject hahaha! What’s more is my only subject this semester I finished my degree now just I have to finish with English XD however in spite of all I like the English and I would like to continue learning in the future is more, this is one of the reasons because I want to travel to Australia, to learn to talk really well the language.

In my opinion the English is important in many ways, from communicating with people of another culture until to get a good job. Today I can say than I know English but is not enough.

I think that the English is necessary in the university; although I have suffered also I have learned J this blog for example is a good way to practice our handwriting, in my case had been really useful, I think the key to learning any foreign language is practice continually, every day a little time if this is possible, maybe watching a video or listening songs in this language or watching a film, nowadays exist lots of ways to learn a language, just you have to want it!

I must say that these classes has been really useful for me because a few days ago I had a test and in the writing part a had a good score so that was great for me, now I want to continue learning and overcome the fear about to talk in English! I hope that happen soon hahaha! Nowadays I am using English all the time because I am applying work and holiday visa and if everything turn of I will be really happy and the second semester I will be talking in English everyday but in Australia J

Cartoons

Hi  Everybody !!!!

Today I’m going to talk about comics and cartoons; the truth is I never have read a comic with the exception of comics in newspapers or magazines; however I have seen lots of movies base on comics generally about action hero.

In my case when I was a girl saw lots of cartoons, different kinds depending on my age , of course I had a favorite called  “Slam dunk” I remember that I arrived to my home after of the school just to see this cartoons . The story it was about a basketball team and how they advanced in a tournament. I liked these cartoons because I practiced basketball at the school so all related with that was really striking for me and of course the story was funny , the characters were really comical also was exciting to follow every match , I enjoyed watching every episode.                       The only sad it’s I never saw the ending because the author never wrote the ending that was really sad L I didn’t know if they win the last match.

Environment

The last time I have been thinking a lot about environment because a few days ago I saw news in the television about of recycling , the truth is that I don’t  recycling but I would like to do it  in the near future , I think it is a good way  to stop the damage environment .

I think than  these practices could be learned at school when you were a child ,  it is sad because when I was at school  I  didn’t see nothing like that so I think  there is a ignorant generation about this . On the other hand I see how the reality has changed, today my brother who is five years old to learn about that so I think there is a change and of course that must complement also at the home.

Other change that I have seen is there are lots of people are using bike to move in the city I think that is a good idea to stop the pollution in my case I can’t do it because I live quite far away of my job and the university so now it is complicated, but when I studied near here I did it  the last years for example.

Article

I have chosen an article about an artist and his work. Banksy is the artist, he is a painter that makes graffitis always with social content.

So in this opportunity the painter made a work called “mobile lovers”, he painted on a piece of wood the image of a couple who are embracing which never disconnected from their mobiles phones.

I must say that the purpose of the artist was paint on a piece of wood with the intention to donate this piece and this way to raise money for a center-risk youth, located in Bristol, London.         Bristol Youth Club, which has been open for 120 years, needs to raise $ 200 billion to keep running.

The article to show some people do not share the fact of receiving money for the work I think this case the purpose is different.

This article caught my attention because I really like Banksy’s work so everything related with him I think is good to show it, I like the message than he sent in his works. The social criticism is some important for him and I think that this message would must be too sent to more artists, would be good idea to bring art to the people.  In this case I think is really admirable than Banksy donate his work for the  people,  more artists could do  the same , this way we could help directly with the art to the people than really to need it.

Important memorable party

Hiii Everybody!!!

Today I’m going to talk about an important memorable party for me J

In reality I like the parties, when I was a teenager I went a lot of parties  but in the last time this is not common for me ,  now just I think in to work y to study .

I remember one in specific, is the party when I finished the school, it was in December 2007, I was with all my classmates (we were classmates for twelve years) so was really emotional.

First we were at school until 3 AM , we danced, we ate good food and obviously we drank XD then we went a classmate’s home in that place we danced and  talked the rest of the night!!! Until 8 AM  … really I think was a amazing experience because everybody knew each other, we were like a big family .

Then we continued making parties for a time but any like that.

Nowadays most of us have lost the contact L this is really sad but still the good memories are with us and never they are going to disappear, that is the important J

the movie that had the biggest impact in you

HI!!

Today I'm going to talk about the movie really impact for me , it’s called  The sixth sense, in reality I think that was so impact because just I was ten years old , so the movie is the genre suspense, for a child something like that could be impressive :S

The basic story is about a doctor called Malcolm Crowe and how he tries to help to a boy called Cole Sear about the terrible truth of the supernatural powers he possesses. The psychologist starts to study the case because he had had similar patient years ago. 

A country I'd like to visit.

Hi!

This topic is really interesting for me because I would like to know a lot of countries, as of now I want to travel to Australia in the second semester of this year.  In Australia I have relatives, there are my aunt and cousins, so this facilitate that I can to go to Australia.

I would like to work and to study too, and of course to practice English, I hope someday to lost the fear of English speaking so I think that could be a good opportunity for that XD

Nowadays I am studying English .I am preparing to take a test called IELTS (I need a good score in this exam) then with the result I could document processing for a work and holiday visa.

In reality I don’t know much about Australia, I just know the typical things like that there are koalas and kangaroos and of course beautiful beaches also I have heard that the quality of life is really good, so is a good country to start.

I feel really excited  for the idea of to travel to Australia so I hope everything to become like I want.

Hi Everybody!

Today I try to talk about  my ideal job XD this is really difficult for me because  I study arts so I dream with  to be artist and in my opinion  that is very difficult in this country .

I know that I would like to work in my area , the visual arts, but  I don’t have so clear in what XD      maybe will make a  paintings and will try sell them   or will work  design  jewels  or  another things. For that I need to work hard and a lot of perseverance because like I said before the field of arts is complicated.

Is difficult for me think in one job or a specific job,  but I know that  I want to work  in some that I feel good  and happy , obviously the money is important but not essential,  maybe would be hard but will not be  impossible .
